Halves and Wholes Information
We have Irish Dexter cattle that are naturally smaller cows, and Angus cross for larger needs. You can pick them up at one of the farms or we can deliver them for a charge. You will be responsible for your own processing. We use Yoder Brothers in Paris but you may use any you wish.
Our beef is 100% grass fed, hormone and antibiotic free and raised on our farm from start to finish. They never get grain and are usually ready to process in 30-36 months for best quality and flavor.
Whole beef or Half beef: $2.50/ pound live weight
Depending on the cuts you choose you can expect to yield about 40% of the live weight for freezer beef. Buy a whole for yourself or find a neighbor to buy a half. Stock your freezer with quality beef for the upcoming months.
